Role:

As a Trim Carpenter Assistant , you’ll work directly with a lead carpenter on high-end residential trim installations. From moldings to built-ins, you’ll be helping bring the finishing touches to life. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in the construction trades.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with installing trim elements: baseboards, crown molding, door/window casings, and more Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Minimize material waste and help manage tools and supplies Support warranty work and general maintenance for Lafaye Living homes Communicate effectively with superintendents and construction leaders Bring a can-do attitude and strong sense of responsibility to every project

What We’re Looking For:

Some experience in trim or general carpentry is preferred Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Positive attitude and a team-first approach Ability to lift materials, work on your feet, and handle tools safely Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Basic toolset in good working condition
