Job Responsibilities
Performs skills in rough and finish carpentry work within construction, alteration and repair of building structures. Knowledgeable in building and relocating walls with metal stud framing, hanging sheetrock, mudding sheetrock, and finishing sheetrock. Relocating and/or hanging new or old doors and installing door frames, installing door hardware, installing new and maintenance of acoustical ceilings, repairing and/or replacing flooring.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Requires job related accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Additional Comments
Driver’s License required.
Must maintain considerable knowledge of tools, equipment and materials used in building maintenance and construction. Must maintain knowledge and skill of the techniques and methods used in the carpentry trade.
