Holston College Road, Louisville, TN 37777 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter Helper to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction and remodeling industry. As a Carpenter Helper, you will assist experienced carpenters in various tasks, contributing to the successful completion of projects while developing your skills in carpentry and construction. Duties Assist in the installation of cabinets, and other structures as directed by lead carpenters. Support concrete forming activities, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Help with caulking and sealing to ensure weatherproofing and insulation of structures. Participate in tile laying projects, ensuring precision and quality in installation. Utilize hand tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks. Aid in remodeling projects by providing support in demolition, framing, and finishing work. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on job sites. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on-site. Experience Previous experience or knowledge in maintenance person services, concrete forming, or cabinet installation is preferred but not required. Familiarity with basic carpentry tools and techniques is beneficial. A willingness to learn new skills related to plumb work, tile laying, and general remodeling practices is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
