The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction tasks and be adept at working with a range of materials and tools. This role involves collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications. Perform glass installation, ensuring proper fitting and sealing for durability. Execute trim carpentry tasks, including the installation of moldings and other decorative elements. Install cabinets with precision, ensuring functionality and aesthetics. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps for weatherproofing and insulation purposes. Fabricate components as needed for various construction projects. Plumb structures accurately to ensure proper alignment and functionality. Assist with basic electrical tasks as required, following safety protocols. Skills Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints is essential. Experience in glass installation is highly desirable. Familiarity with Bluebeam software for project management is a plus. Strong skills in trim carpentry and cabinet installation are required. Knowledge of construction inspection processes is beneficial. Ability to perform caulking effectively for sealing purposes. Experience in fabricating materials for construction use is advantageous. Competence in plumbing tasks is necessary for project completion. Basic electrical skills will be considered an asset.
