Job Description
Framing Carpenter 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Brattleboro, VT 05301 Immediately seeking a Framing Carpenter in the Brattleboro, VT area . This is a full time first shift position offering up to $19.00/hour .
Responsibilities:
Select appropriate pieces for each order, balancing maximum yield against quality Set up machinery properly for each order Perform checks on moulding as required, ensuring work is done to exact specifications Read orders correctly Work effectively with other shop personnel Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, hazard free condition Work safely at all times “Finish” product as required Pack product as required
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a woodworking shop is preferred but not required Follow work instructions, read and understand work orders, read fractions, learn machine set-up, and make decisions regarding the quality of product output Ability to lift 70 pounds
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:15pm, Friday 7:00am-Noon J27742
