Commercial Diver US Commercial Diving Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting underwater operations, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs in various aquatic environments. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties Perform underwater inspections and assessments of structures such as bridges, pipelines, vessels and hull cleaning. Conduct maintenance and repair tasks including welding, cutting, and installing underwater equipment. Utilize diving equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to plan dive operations and ensure all tasks are completed accurately. Maintain detailed records of dive activities, including conditions encountered and any issues identified. Participate in ongoing training to enhance diving skills and knowledge of underwater technologies. Respond to emergency situations as required, ensuring the safety of all personnel involved. Able to assist in dredging operations (operating heavy equipment). Qualifications Certification from a recognized diving school (e.g., PADI, NAUI) is required. Previous experience in commercial diving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of dive safety procedures and emergency response protocols. Ability to work in challenging underwater environments with varying visibility and conditions. Excellent physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks underwater. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
