General Job Description:
- Grade and Smooth Concrete usingVarious Tools
- Monitor the Effects of Wind, Heat, and Cold on theCuring of Concrete
- Work with Concrete and Aggregate Materials
- Obtain Specified Finish According to Building Plans
- FollowGuidelines to Maintain a Safe Working Environment
- Performadditional Tasks as instructed by Supervisor including
Clean-Up andHousekeeping Tasks Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- ValidDriver’s License
- Ability to Pass a Drug Screen and BackgroundCheck
- Minimum 2 Years’ Experience working with Concrete o Must befamiliar with various concrete tools
- Working knowledge of basicconstruction math, familiarity of hand and power tools, generalknowledge of blueprints o Knowing how to grade, and run a vibrator(Plus) o Knowledge of Various Concrete Tools
- Ability to performjob specific physical requirements under the specified workingconditions – This is considered a Labor Intense Jobs o Able to workon knees, bend for extended period, and lift over 50lbs
- Willingto Perform any assigned Task o Clean Up Concrete after each Productis Cast o Must Help other areas when concrete is not being poured
- Self-Sufficient and Self-Motivated
- Reliable and TimelyTransportation o Strict Start of Day at 7:00 AM
- Willingness toWork Overtime as Needed, Including Weekends
- Ability to Stay untilConcrete is finished Properly – Flexible End of Day (Jobs MayRequire Staying Past 3:30 PM)
