Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team in Montgomery, AL. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing concrete surfaces to ensure they are smooth, level, and free of imperfections. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing Placing concrete in forms and smoothing it to the desired level Using hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces Applying sealants and other protective coatings to concrete surfaces Ensuring that all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Required:
1 year experience in finishing concrete surfaces Knowledge of concrete mixing and pouring techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:
The position is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as hot and/or cold weather conditions, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. Also, bending, stooping and occasional light lifting to accomplish tasks. Walking particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
