Background Check and Drug Screen Position Summary:

A Concrete Finisher is responsible for finishing poured concrete surfaces to ensure they are smooth, level, and durable. This role involves skilled use of hand and power tools to create flat or textured surfaces in projects such as sidewalks, floors, roads, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

Finish concrete pours, point and patch as needed. Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, and edgers. Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and gaps in concrete work. Apply finishing techniques like brooming, stamping, or stamping to create specific textures or patterns. Monitor the curing process and apply sealants or curing compounds to protect the surface. Work collaboratively with crew foreman to keep the work safe and on schedule.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a concrete finisher and mason. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Strong skills in building and installation process. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong work ethic and a drive to see work completed on time.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed outdoors, often in hot, cold, or wet weather. Requires lifting heavy materials and working in physically demanding postures.
