The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction tasks. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create smooth, durable surfaces for a variety of projects. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. Duties Prepare and finish concrete surfaces, ensuring they meet project specifications. Use hand tools and equipment to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces of poured concrete. Perform tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall installation as needed. Assist in the construction estimating process by providing input on material requirements and labor needs. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including metal stud framing and stucco specialists, to complete projects efficiently. Lift heavy materials and equipment as required during the finishing process. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields is preferred. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe practices in a construction setting. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus. Experience with additional skills such as welding, stucco application, and the use of hand tools is beneficial. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
