Concrete Worker Lighthouse Building Services 6180 Bowdendale Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32216 Overview We are seeking a Concrete professional to help us run residential new construction and remodel jobs. Must know Florida building code standards and requirements, know correct installation techniques for residential foundation pouring, stem walls, driveway and residental slab installation. This position is available on a temporary basis, or for the right candidate, may be eligible for a permanent employment opportunity. Candidates who have other general construction experience in any trades in addition to concrete and foundation work are a plus. LBS is a General Contractor, Roofing, Plumbing/Septic, and HVAC company that works in single and multifamily new construction and remodeling in the Jacksonville and surrounding areas, and we would love to hear from you if you think you would be a good fit for our team. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete and stem wall installation for various construction projects. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers and other machinery as required. Perform installation tasks including drywall, trim carpentry, and other finishing work. Help restore and renovate existing structures by applying concrete solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with other laborers and tradespeople to complete projects on time. Requirements Previous experience in concrete construction is required. Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating equipment effectively. Familiarity with power tools and their safe usage is required. Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to concrete work. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks. Experience working in a foreman or team lead capacity is preferred.
