The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and be adept at working with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction sites. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces for various projects. Responsibilities Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by leveling and compacting the ground. Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to project requirements. Use hand tools and heavy equipment to shape and finish concrete surfaces. Apply finishing techniques such as smoothing, texturing, or stamping to achieve desired aesthetics. Perform drywall installation and finishing as needed on construction projects. Assist with hardscape installations including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct masonry work as required for structural support or decorative elements. Lift heavy materials and equipment safely throughout the workday. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Qualifications Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics. Familiarity with drywall installation techniques is a plus. Experience with hardscape and flooring installation preferred. Knowledge of stucco application methods is advantageous. Ability to perform masonry tasks effectively. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Experience with construction estimating is beneficial. Competence in operating heavy equipment safely on job sites.
