Job Summary:
We are hiring construction and masonry technicians with hands-on experience in new and renovated multifamily residential properties in the Winter Haven area . These positions involve repair, replacement, and installation work and general labor under conditions that require physical stamina and technical ability. Duties & Responsibilities (Based on Trade Specialty): Masonry repairs and new work Rough framing Concrete walkways and pavers Concrete blocks Concrete mixing, pouring and leveling Epoxy floors Stairways and railings Interior and Exterior surface finishes General Laborer Other general construction work
Essential Physical Requirements:
To perform the essential functions of these roles with or without reasonable accommodation , applicants must be able to: Work indoors and outdoors which may involve heat and humidity for extended periods. Lift and carry tools, equipment, or parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling in tight spaces, bending, reaching overhead, and walking long distances. Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the skills identified (residential or light commercial preferred). Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and follow verbal and written instructions. Must be punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious. Valid driver’s license preferred.
Work Environment:
Residential multifamily properties in and around Winter Haven, FL in the immediate future and Central Florida for longer-term employment 40+ hours per week potential including weekends.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$16.00 – $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
