The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a specialist you will put the finishing touches on side walks, patios, walkways, as well as larger scale projects such as loading docks, pads, and public pools. This position may require some site supervision and direction of up to 2-5 crew members.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply finishing touches ensuring high-quality results. Utilize various tools and techniques to achieve smooth, level surfaces and visually appealing finishes. Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Perform site inspections to assess project requirements and determine appropriate finishing methods. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and maintenance of equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to concrete finishing, such as imperfections or inconsistencies. Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders to address concerns and ensure satisfaction with the finished product.

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results on every project. 3-5 years experience working with concrete finishing tools and techniques, including trowels, floats, and edger’s. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions on-site. Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
