Overview Job Summary The Patient Placement Center Specialist is responsible for coordinating the patient placement center bedassignments. Job Responsibilities + Assess bed availability for all areas of assigned hospitals. + Assess the patient information given and bed requested for appropriateness. + Make appropriate bed assignment based on patient need and specialized services provided by the unit. + Proficient in electronic bed management systems. + Communicates bed status to management. + Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery. + Communicates/collaborates with others in providing patient care. + Completes assigned goals.
