Concrete finishers Hartsell’s Remodeling & Landscaping LLC Statesville, NC 28677 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including the ability to read blueprints and utilize various power and hand tools. This role is essential in ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards, contributing to the overall quality of our construction projects. Duties Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements. Prepare and set up forms for pouring concrete. Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to project specifications. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for finishing work. Restore and build concrete surfaces, ensuring a smooth finish. Apply stucco as needed for aesthetic enhancements. Perform trim carpentry tasks related to concrete installations. Assist in hardscape projects, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site. Requirements Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in construction. Strong ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to concrete finishing. Knowledge of construction site safety protocols. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods. Experience with trim carpentry and construction estimating is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
