Precast Concrete Technician Excavating New Jersey LLC Wantage, NJ 07461 Precast Concrete Technician Job Description We are seeking a qualified, dependable Precast Concrete Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role understands measurements and calculations for concrete mixing. They must adhere to project plans, safety protocols, and supervisor directions. We expect the Precast Concrete Technician to be professional and courteous when needing to speak with our customers.

General Responsibilities Formwork construction:

Building and assembling wooden or metal forms to contain the concrete pour.

Concrete mixing:

Loading and mixing concrete ingredients according to specifications, including cement, aggregate, and water.

Concrete pouring:

Operating concrete pumps or buckets to pour concrete into forms, ensuring even distribution.

Concrete finishing:

Spreading and smoothing concrete using hand tools like rakes, trowels, and floats to achieve desired surface texture.

Rebar placement:

Installing reinforcing steel bars (rebar) within forms as needed.

Joint cutting:

Cutting expansion joints in the concrete using specialized tools.

Clean up:

Removing excess concrete, debris, and tools from the worksite. Requirements and Qualifications Valid driver’s license required Clean driving record with no moving violations Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to get in and out of the excavator with no physical restraints Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful Must pass a drug test High level of composure and proper stress management Alert, focused, and detail-oriented Forklift experience would be preferred but not required Benefits Health benefits 401K PTO Vacation Salary starting at $30 per hour
