Concrete Mason Flat Work and Finisher Stephen Miller Gen. Contractors, Inc. Gloversville, NY 12078 Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing techniques and be proficient in various construction tasks. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality finishes, and collaborating with other trades on the job site. If you are passionate about construction and have an eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Duties Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning and leveling the area. Mix, pour, and finish concrete to meet project specifications. Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete. Apply plaster and stucco as needed for aesthetic finishes. Lay tiles accurately to create durable surfaces. Perform caulking to seal joints and prevent water infiltration. Renovate existing structures as required, ensuring quality craftsmanship. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the construction site. Requirements Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using power tools and other equipment related to concrete finishing. Knowledge of trim carpentry, flooring installation, plastering, stucco application, and tile laying is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications. Excellent physical stamina and strength; ability to lift heavy materials as needed. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols on the construction site.
