Responsibilities Asphalt Work Prepare and grade surfaces prior to paving Rake, spread, and level asphalt manually Use compactors and tampers to ensure proper compaction Assist with paving machinery and monitor asphalt flow Concrete Work Assist with forming, pouring, and finishing sidewalks, curbs, and slabs Place rebar, screed surfaces, and apply finishing tools Handle cleanup, curing, and final detailing General Duties Keep tools and equipment clean and job-ready Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times Assist with traffic control as needed Work closely with crew and foreman to meet daily production goals Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience in asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, or related construction Reliable transportation to job sites across Long Island Ability to lift 50 lbs+, perform repetitive physical tasks, and work outdoors in all conditions Strong work ethic, dependability, and team-player attitude Valid driver’s license preferred Schedule Full-time position; seasonal or year-round depending on workload Typical work hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Some jobs may begin as early as 5:00 AM to meet project timelines Overtime and occasional weekend work available during peak season Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Overtime pay available Fast-track career advancement opportunities — we promote from within Company-paid PPE and safety training Health insurance , retirement plan , and benefits available for eligible full-time employees Why Work With Us?
