Concrete Laborer/Finisher Jons Concrete Plus LLC Manheim, PA 17545 Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various concrete finishing techniques and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working with concrete to create smooth, durable surfaces for a variety of projects, including commercial and residential applications. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality results and adherence to project specifications. Responsibilities Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including the installation of forms and reinforcement materials. Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and heavy equipment. Ensure that surfaces are level, smooth, and properly cured according to project specifications. Operate heavy equipment as needed for various tasks related to concrete finishing. Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials throughout the job site. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing minor repairs as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of drywall installation techniques is advantageous. Experience reading schematics and blueprints is preferred. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated when needed. Must be able to pass a background check to work on government projects.
