Admissions & Job Placement Specialist for Trade School Heritage Services Corporation 19 Job Corps Ave, Bamberg, SC 29003 We are searching for a talented individual to serve as Outreach & Admissions Counselor. Acceptable candidates will be required to perform a range of Outreach activities including speaking to organizations, distributing flyers and other activities designed to educate the community of the Job Corps Program. The Job Corps is a residential education and job training Program for students between the ages 16-24 years of age. The school has about 203 students who are preparing for careers in a variety of fields such as welding, construction, business, and health. Unlike traditional post -secondary programs, who start and graduate on a semester basis, Job Corps center students can enroll or graduate throughout the year. Admissions duties will include screening applicants for program appropriateness, applicant commitment to completing the program and then guiding them through the Application Process. Additionally, admissions personnel are required to work with and occasionally, assist the Job Placement staff referred to as Career Transition Services. This not only provides a connection through the entire student program life cycle but should be a rewarding experience for both Admissions Counselor and Student as they successfully exit the program and start their new career.

Acceptable candidates will:

• Have a bachelor’s degree
• Basic understanding of Recruiting and light Marketing
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sales experience a Plus EOE – This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.
