Concrete Finisher/Laborer GCE Construction Wartburg, TN 37887 Job Overview We are seeking a SKILLED Concrete Finishe r to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction skills. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on various projects, including residential and commercial structures. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for shaping, smoothing, and finishing surfaces of poured concrete to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Duties Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning and leveling the area. Mix, pour, and spread concrete using appropriate tools and techniques. Finish surfaces using hand tools, power tools, or machines to achieve desired textures. Restore damaged concrete surfaces through repair techniques. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project specifications are met. Perform tasks related to stucco application, metal stud framing, and tile laying as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Experience Proven experience in concrete finishing with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with plastering techniques and mechanical knowledge of construction tools. Ability to weld and build structures as required by specific jobs. Knowledge of stucco application processes is a plus. Experience in reading blueprints or schematics is preferred.
