The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finishing concrete surfaces for commercial and/or industrial. This role requires precision, efficiency, and the ability to work in various weather conditions while meeting project deadlines and quality standards. This is a long term project, working Monday-Friday 40+hours a week, and pay is up to $32/hr. depending upon experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools. Set forms, grade, and prepare work areas before concrete placement. Apply sealants, stains, and other surface treatments as required. Operate equipment such as power trowels, screeds, and grinders. Repair and resurface damaged or old concrete structures. Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
At least four years of concrete finishing experience. Journeyman-level expertise in concrete finishing techniques. Knowledge of different types of concrete mixes and finishing methods. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Experience working with trowels, floats, screeds, and other concrete finishing tools. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
