Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Permit Expediter with a strong background in swimming pool construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly knowledgeable about local building codes, permitting processes, and inspection procedures related to pool projects.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit permit applications for residential and commercial pool projects Coordinate and schedule building, plumbing, and electrical inspections Liaise with local municipalities and building departments to track and expedite permits Ensure all projects meet applicable codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards Conduct on-site visits to verify compliance and readiness for inspections Maintain accurate records of all permits, revisions, and inspection results Communicate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve permit-related issues promptly

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a permit expediter, preferably in the pool or construction industry Strong knowledge of local building codes and permit requirements for pools Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with inspection procedures and scheduling platforms
