Typical Day Like:

Perform inspections on commercial and residential buildings under construction or repair to ensure compliance with building codes and ordinances. Make recommendations to contractors, engineers, and architects regarding necessary changes in plans. Maintain accurate and current inspection records. Prepare reports and ensure project requirements are met and compliant. Drive to and inspect various job sites throughout the State of Florida. Oversee maintenance of company vehicle and adhere to driving laws. Attend department meetings and support business needs with flexible schedules.

Outstanding Fit If You:

Have a valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record. Can pass background check screening per Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act. Possess ability to perform physical tasks like driving, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Thrive in outdoor environments, handling adverse weather conditions. Are comfortable working varying shift schedules, including overnight and weekends if necessary.
