NV5 is an ENR Top 500 firm; we offer a full range of professional services in offices throughout the U.S. We are looking for a SUE Technician III to support the Survey group.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities of this job include: designating and locating underground utilities such as water, gas, sewer force main, fiber, telephone, and electric. Supervise and manage underground utility projects for clients such as FDOT, private developers and construction companies Coordinate with clients and survey personnel to obtain existing documentation (utility records, construction plans, as-builts, RGB’s, surveys, etc) on underground utilities Select and apply radio-detection, geophysical and other equipment to designate public and private underground utility lines Utilize vacuum excavation equipment to expose underground utilities Coordinate with clients, utility owners, property owners, etc. in the field Follow all applicable safety standards

Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up to 10-12 hours a day on occasion. Must have the ability to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk. Weekend and overtime work and/or overnight work and travel may be required. Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
