What You’ll Do:

Inspect and grade incoming and outgoing loads for quality, weight, packaging, hazardous materials and safety.
Report load inspection to the Scale Operator to correctly pay customers for their materials.
Write Inspection Reports and Metal Tickets as needed.
Direct traffic throughout the facility to ensure loads are dumped in the proper locations.
Must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
Perform general facility cleanup.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

Knowledge of metal grades a plus
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Ability to communicate well with customers and coworkers
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
Ability to work in all elements such as rain, cold, and heat
Ability to handle stressful situations, manages time, and multitasks
Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical, and drug screening

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Minimum of two years of customer service experience
