Job Description:

– The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various transportation projects in the Central Florida area. Under immediate supervision, they will assist our team of CEI inspectors, ensuring construction activities conform to quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements. Their essential functions include assisting in conducting regular field inspections, performing simple materials sampling, inspection, and testing, and performing contract administrative duties. A flexible work schedule is required, which could include day and or night shift, and or weekends. Work activities may frequently change on short notice, and you may be expected to work more than 40 hours per week. Required education and experience – Must be a High School graduate or equivalent. Must obtain FDOT Intermediate MOT (company paid) within the first six months of employment. Must have basic computer/technology skills and experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, pdf etc. Must have experience and or be willing to learn and use the technology associated with successful completion of job duties including but not limited to Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint, and Teams, and any client technology applications. A strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and basic knowledge of construction inspection processes is a plus but not required.
