Work hours will be associated with the requirement of the project, to include nights and possibly weekends. Typical work hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will be 1800 to 0200. Typical work hours on Tuesday and Thursday will be 1700 to 0100, but it is possible that these hours could shift to be the same as the MWF hours. This project’s expected duration is roughly six (6) months. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Construction Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position involves working closely with construction management teams to oversee the quality control processes on-site, ensuring that all work aligns with schematics and project specifications. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Perform quality control assessments throughout the construction process, identifying any issues or discrepancies. Analyze construction plans and schematics to verify that work is being executed as designed. Collect data related to construction activities, documenting findings and reporting them to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with contractors and project managers to address any quality inspection concerns promptly. Ensure that all materials used on-site meet required standards for safety and durability. Monitor pipeline installations and other critical infrastructure components for compliance with industry standards. Requirements Proven experience in construction management or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of quality control processes and techniques in the construction industry. Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential issues before they escalate. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards on-site. Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders. Willingness to work on various construction sites, adapting to different environments as needed.
