Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and licensed Field Adjuster to join our growing team of public adjusters. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can independently investigate, document, and evaluate property damage claims on behalf of policyholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property insurance policies, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 2 years of field adjusting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial property damage (fire, water, storm, etc.) Assess and document damages with photographs, measurements, and written notes Prepare detailed damage reports and estimates using industry-standard software (e.g., Xactimate) Work closely with clients to explain the claims process and advocate on their behalf Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other experts to support claim valuation Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers to ensure fair claim settlements Maintain organized records of inspections, communications, and claim progress Stay current with licensing requirements and industry regulations
Qualifications:
Active Public Adjuster License (State-specific license required) Minimum 2 years of experience in property field adjusting (public or independent) Strong knowledge of residential and commercial building components Proficient in claims estimation tools (e.g., Xactimate) Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple claims and work independently in the field Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Flexibility to travel within assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications:
