The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential construction sites, ensuring compliance with approved scope and government program standards and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, quality control measures, and the ability to analyze schematics effectively. The Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our projects and ensuring that all work meets contractual obligations. Job sites are scattered through South Louisiana (New Orleans/Thibodeaux/Houma) area, but assignment of inspections will be completed to lessen drive time. Duties Perform midpoint and final inspections on construction sites to ensure adherence to scope and project specifications and standards. Conduct data collection and photos of inspection results for reporting purposes. Collaborate with construction management teams and attend Inspector meetings to address any quality control issues identified during inspections. Maintain accurate records of inspections, including photographs and detailed reports. Skills Proficient in Xactimate is preferred. Experience in Disaster Recovery, specifically CDBG-DR projects is preferred. Proficient in quality inspection processes and methodologies. Knowledge of quality control standards within the construction industry. Familiarity with construction management practices and site operations. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
