Pioneer Inspection LLC is looking for locally based Certified Welding Inspectors to work in and around the Eliot, Maine area. We have openings for seasonal full-time (entry-level, and experienced) Certified Welding Inspectors for the 2025 construction season. Founded in 2018, Pioneer Inspection LLC specializes in providing inspection services for the natural gas industry. Job Duties Document the progress of each project assigned daily and complete documentation as requested by the clientMeet with contractors to review job and discuss any concerns they may have and confirm that they are Operator Qualified (OQ)Visually inspect the welds on fittings and joints and verify adherence to all manufacturer and client proceduresMaintain appropriate OQ skills as required and outlined in the client’s O & MWork with detailed plans and procedures, track quantities and material and verify the accuracy of mapping and as-built documentationInspection of installation of natural gas pipeline activities including: Excavation, installation, and backfill/restorationPerform other duties as assignedPhysical Demands Duties are performed primarily in an outdoor setting with exposure to changing weather conditionsThis role requires extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and liftingWorking in inclement weather conditions, such as: extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and windThis position is physically active, with lifting required.
