The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential properties to assess their condition and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to clients. Duties Conduct comprehensive inspections of homes, including structural components, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems. Collect and analyze data related to property conditions and construction quality. Review blueprints and construction contracts to verify compliance with specifications. Identify potential issues or safety hazards during inspections and provide recommendations for remediation. Prepare detailed inspection reports that summarize findings, including photographs and recommendations for repairs or improvements. Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure quality inspection processes are followed on construction sites. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to home inspections. Qualifications Proven experience in home inspection or a related field such as construction management or quality inspection is preferred. Strong skills in data collection and analysis, with the ability to interpret technical documents such as blueprints. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety standards. Excellent communication skills for presenting findings clearly to clients and stakeholders. Ability to work independently while managing multiple inspection projects effectively.
