This opportunity offers a flexible schedule. We look for people that have: Minimum 5 years as a commercial draw inspector with a degree in architecture, engineering, building construction, building management, or similar. OR min 15 years in the commercial construction industry as either a project engineer, project manager, or superintendent Strong narrative writing and communication skills Punctual with appointments and deadlines Computer skills- including Word, Adobe, Excel Great attitude with a willingness to be flexible with hours. Ability to complete take offs as required- multiple scopes. Experience with preparation, review, and approval of pay applications. Working knowledge of construction processes, building materials and methods of design and construction. Responsibilities and Duties Verifying monthly billings provided by the contractor for each job.
This will involve:
Monthly site visits for each job contracted. Be able to identify conditions that could impact completion of construction project. Have a keen eye for scope of work completed and estimating work to be completed compared to contract. Meeting with onsite representative to review billing, schedule, offsite material, etc. Walking each job to verify billing is representative of construction completed. Completing report to be submitted to the loan company. Attend monthly meetings on-site, if applicable Resume required
