We’re growing fast and looking for skilled, motivated Field Inspectors to join our network as independent 1099 contractors. What You’ll Do As a Field Inspector, you’ll play a vital role in supporting insurance companies by conducting residential and commercial property inspections. You’ll be expected to: Safely inspect steep, high, or otherwise challenging roofs Use and transport equipment (ladders up to 32 feet and 100 lbs.) Accurately sketch and measure roofs, rooms, and structures Document property conditions with photos and notes (age, wear, structural integrity, etc.) Travel to catastrophe sites (multiple week deployments; lodging provided, shared accommodations possible) Use our mobile app to complete and submit detailed inspection reports Accept and complete assignments efficiently—even on short notice Operate within a 100-mile radius of your home when not deployed What We’re Looking For We’re seeking dependable, detail-oriented professionals who can work independently in dynamic field environments.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Experience in roofing, construction, or inspections (a plus) Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Comfort with mobile technology and reporting tools A professional attitude and appearance Minimum Requirements 32-foot ladder (owned and transportable) Reliable truck, SUV, or van capable of carrying ladder safely Laptop and smartphone with app capabilities Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 1099 Independent contractor Proof of Workers’ Compensation and General Liability Insurance Willingness to travel extensively, especially during storms or natural disasters Why Work with Us?
