We are looking for a professional CEI Inspector to add to our highway team and work alongside our technical experts to provide contributions to the development of new techniques and standards. Help our team grow by mentoring the early professionals while assisting resident engineers and project administrators in completion of inspection work in accordance with projects and client specifications. The ideal candidate for this position will work independently with North Carolina Department of Transportation and contractors What you will do: Work on various roadway and bridge projects within the region’s geographic area. Oversight of contractor’s quality control operations. Quality Assurance sampling and testing. Completion of Daily Sampling and Testing Reports. Data input in HiCAMS/SharePlus. Daily communication with client, contractor, and field project personnel.

What you will bring:

At least 2 years in CEI experience in roadway or bridge projects. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Valid State’s driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check. Ability to read and interpret roadway, bridge and structure plans & understand how to read and follow test specifications. Must have a solid background in mathematics. Good written and verbal communication skills.
