Construction Inspector•
Infrastructure Opportunity :
Parsons is now hiring for an experienced Construction Inspector to support the Brook Cemetery Drainage Tunnel Project in New Hampshire. The lnspection Team will consist of experienced personnel in the construction field for both surface inspections and tunnel inspections. The Inspectors report to the Chief Inspector and Resident Engineer and are responsiible for performing the folllowing tasks:
Responsibilities :
Verification that the work is in accordance with the contract documents, any approved change orders. clariifications. etc. Verification tl at the work is iin accordance with the approved shop drawing and sample Submittals.
- Verification that the quality of the work is acceptable.
- Verifying tlhat the contractors are providing an acceptable level of project supervision.
Verifying tlhat the construction is progressing in accordance wiith the approved CPM schedule. Preparing and maintaining the daily reports. Witnessing and verifying the acceptability of all field testing. Tracking quantities installed on a daily basis. Preparing T&M reports as appropriate. Observing field activities to 1identify safety concerns and adviise the contractor’s safety personnel for corrective action. Documenting all the above iin their daily inspection reports including photographs of the work performed via
Procore Requirements :
High School Diploma and
- Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline/construction related field, or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline is desirable (specifically if a technical certification is not available)
- 10 years or more of related experience in heavy construction projects
