un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Office Admin & Field Inspector (River Edge) compensation: $18/hour + paid certifications + gas covered for NYC field work.

experience level: entry level job title: Office Administrator & Field Inspector GTM Contracting Inc., an environmental contracting company, is hiring a full-time Office Administrator & Lead Dust Wipe Inspector to join our team. This is a hybrid position — you will work in our NJ office and also travel to NYC (all 5 boroughs) for on-site lead inspections. We will pay for all required certifications and cover gas for travel. ✅

Responsibilities:

In the Office (NJ): Answer phones, schedule jobs, and assist project managers. Handle job paperwork like Chain of Custody’s COCs, lab results, etc. Keep records organized and assist with project tracking. In the Field (NYC): Conduct lead dust wipe sampling (EPA/HUD/NYS protocols). Complete visual inspections and clearance documentation. Drop off dust wipe samples to labs. Drive to job sites across all 5 boroughs (gas paid if using your car) ????

Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving into NYC. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, email) Must be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented. Must be willing to undergo certification training (paid by us). Previous experience in construction or environmental work is a plus but not required.
