Part-Time Construction Inspector – Electrical and MPT Promatech, Inc. Pennsauken, NJ 08110 Job Overview This is a one month, short term position requiring a strong understanding of construction processes, MPT for roadway/bridge construction, Electrical Construction, the ability to read blueprints, and a keen eye for quality inspection. The Construction Inspector will work closely with the contractor and project team to analyze plans, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety standards. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Construction Inspector to assist our team for a short duration project. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the construction project meets all specifications, codes, and regulations. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of construction site to ensure compliance Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contract documents to verify that construction work aligns with project specifications. Perform quality inspections on materials and workmanship throughout the construction process. Collect data on construction progress and document findings in detailed reports. Analyze inspection results and provide feedback to contractors regarding any deficiencies or required corrections. Collaborate with project managers to address any issues that arise during the construction phase. Requirements Proven experience in construction inspection or a related field. Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Familiarity with quality inspection processes and techniques. Excellent analytical skills to assess compliance with contracts and regulations. Knowledge of data collection methods relevant to construction projects. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various construction sites. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders. A valid driver’s license is required.
