Where do YOU fit in? As a Field Technician at AQUALIS, you will play a critical role in delivering water management solutions through hands-on inspection, maintenance, and repair services. This position requires a commitment to excellence and teamwork as you work directly with clients to ensure their water systems operate efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Conduct repairs and maintenance to stormwater systems and drainage structures, ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards. Perform fieldwork to support environmental projects, including general labor, data collection, monitoring, and site inspections. Review and interpret engineering plans, specifications, maps, and CAD drawings related to stormwater and drainage systems. Prepare and manage detailed reports, including Daily Work Reports, GIS data collection inspection reports, and project site records. Accurately document field activities and track work quantities throughout project lifecycles Manage multiple field projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules, regulations, and client expectations. Jet Vac Equipment Knowledge a plus Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors, both in written and verbal formats. Ability to travel locally and regionally for projects with several overnights in a row possible. Air Travel when required to project locations Understanding of general site construction, soil movement, concrete, pipe work, and equipment a plus. Requirements Strong understanding of stormwater systems, drainage, and water-related infrastructure. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering plans and technical documents encouraged Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally (within 200 miles of Chester, NJ) for site inspections in company vehicles. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field. Ability to manage site records, logs, and correspondence with attention to detail. Preferred Skills (Not Required): Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, survey, construction management, or general environmental science a plus but not a requirement. Knowledge soil erosion permits, and multi-state stormwater regulations. Familiarity with ARCGIS Pro, Trimble Pathfinder Office, and GPS data collection. Basic proficiency with hand tools and field equipment used in environmental inspections. Construction inspection experience is a plus.
