Qualifications:
– Must carry proof of state license, where applicable, and ASHI certification. Comfortable walking on roofs and climbing in confined spaces, such as attics or crawl spaces. Must have solid customer service skills and communication abilities, verbally and in written form. Attention to detail is critical in the role for both inspections and for reporting purposes. Able to travel by car and possess a current U.S. driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
– Assist home buyers with any other requests regarding the home inspection to keep open lines of communication and adapt to meet their needs Draft a comprehensive report, with photographs, to help home buyers and sellers understand exactly what the inspection revealed Catalog each damaged fixture or system in need of repair so there are no surprises for buyers or sellers Assess the property to see if any damages exist or repairs are needed. Compile and organize inspection results into a report that will give all parties a clear understanding of any potential issues that were identified. Communicate all details of the home systems.
