Non-exempt Position Summary:
The commercial construction foreman will lead a work crew for daily assignments. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, creating quality work, and meeting customer needs and expectations. You will keep efficiency and quality in mind, making sure tasks are performed within budgeted hours.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Install plants, landscape lighting, and hardscape features. Grade and prepare topsoil, stone, mulch, and other landscape materials. Load and unload plants and trees. Dig and install irrigation. Install pavers, walkways, steps, retaining walls, and block walls. Work carefully on projects to provide the best quality to customers. Operate power equipment such as tractors, chainsaws, sod cutters, bobcats, etc. Operate tools including rakes, shovels, saws, axes, and shears. Lead crew members on job sites to ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner within budgeted hours at the highest quality standards in accordance with job specifications. Complete all the necessary paperwork in a timely manner. Communicate daily with supervisor for all aspects related to assigned job sites. Train and develop crew members. Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and accidents to your supervisor and safety manager immediately. Other duties as assigned.

Maintain a clean and organized job site, shop, nursery, and company truck.
