Commercial Solar Electrical Foreman Position Overview:

The Commercial Solar Electrical Foreman will work closely with the construction manager supervisor, field crews, project managers, and customers to ensure every step of the project goes smoothly. We believe success is found through above and beyond communication, attention to detail, and staying highly organized. Someone who has a positive attitude, works well with others, and knows how to motivate a team will thrive in this position. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee daily Construction on assigned project.
• Keep projects organized and on track, while maintaining a high level of quality control and crew safety.
• Review construction drawings, material specs, and ensure project is installed according to the plans.
• Provide daily updates to the Construction Manager Supervisor.
• Ensure all installers on site are prepared with the proper PPE, Tools, Clothing.
• Prepare and order any balance of system materials for site (conduit, wire etc).
• Keep the site clean and organized.
• Conduct Daily Safety Plan meetings prior to beginning work and ensure guidelines are followed.
• Upload daily photos to the Smart Sheet job folder.
• Make sure the crew is clocking in and out to the correct job.
• Maintain a level of preparedness for the upcoming days on the project.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism when talking to customers or other project managers.

Required Qualifications:

• CT Journeyman Electrician license required. MA and/or RI Electrical license a plus.
• 3+ years in the commercial solar industry.
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office suite, email, and CRM systems.
• Team player with a customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter & Self-motivated.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills.

Compensation:

$38.00
