Roadway Foreman Position Available In Broward, Florida

Job Summary:

We’re hiring an experienced Roadway Foreman to lead daily operations for road construction projects. This role oversees crews, equipment, and materials to harmonize , raise and build roads, curb and gutter to prepare for asphalt and concrete, efficiently, and up to spec. The right candidate brings strong leadership, field experience, and a deep understanding of roadway construction and DOT standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Oversight Supervise crews and subcontractors on grading, paving, drainage, and traffic control tasks Assign daily work, manage crew productivity, and ensure safety compliance Train, mentor, and evaluate crew performance Project Execution Interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractor scheduling Monitor job progress and inspect work for quality and compliance Safety & Documentation Lead daily safety meetings and enforce PPE use Maintain logs for labor, equipment, materials, and progress Report incidents and communicate issues to superintendents or project managers

Qualifications:

5+ years of road construction experience, 2+ years in a foreman role Proficient in reading plans and grading stakes Knowledge of DOT standards and traffic control Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) High school diploma or

GED Preferred Skills:

Experience operating or supervising heavy equipment Familiarity with GPS layout and machine control Strong time management and crew leadership

Physical Requirements:

Work in all weather conditions Lift up to 50 lbs, walk, stand, or operate equipment for extended periods Company Description
