Pipefitter Foreman Bluefin Mechanical, LLC Punta Gorda, FL 33982 Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC Mechanical pipe fitting. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to rig and plumb systems accurately. Responsibilities Assemble and install piping systems according to specifications and blueprints. Perform HVAC fitting tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine layout and installation procedures. Rig piping systems for installation, ensuring proper alignment and support. Utilize welding techniques for pipe connections. Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise measurements during installation. Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to identify any issues or maintenance needs. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely. Experience Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Proficient in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Experience with welding techniques, particularly FCAW, is an advantage. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
