Commercial Roofing Foreman 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Jacksonville, FL 32034 Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., Inc. is a respected leader in the commercial roofing industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality roofing solutions across the nation. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead roofing crews and oversee daily job site operations.
Position Summary:
The Commercial Roofing Foreman will be responsible for managing crew activities, ensuring adherence to safety practices, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring quality control. This is a key leadership position that requires roofing system knowledge, strong communication, and operational planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage commercial roofing crews on job sites. Ensure proper installation and repair of various roofing systems including: Single-ply (EPDM, TPO, PVC) Built-up Roofing (BUR) Roof Coating Systems Enforce all safety procedures including fall protection and OSHA standards. Operate heavy equipment as needed on job sites. Coordinate materials, labor, and job site activities to ensure project efficiency. Conduct job site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance. Communicate effectively with project managers and clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading commercial roofing crews. Extensive knowledge of multiple roofing systems and safety practices. OSHA certification preferred but not required. Proficient in operating heavy equipment. Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license with the ability to meet MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) requirements.
