Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee individual projects nationwide, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of sheet metal decking. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage and direct crews on job sites. We have ongoing projects in Virginia and throughout the Northeast. Please note that 100% travel ability is a must!
Key Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, layout, and plan daily job activitiesEnsure all projects comply with contract and safety standardsMaintain tools and equipment in proper working conditionDrive a company truck with equipment to job sitesUse current technology to manage employees and projectsAdhere to OSHA, customer, and company safety standardsPerform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Valid U.S. Drivers LicenseMinimum 5 years experience in sheet metal decking/IronworkExperience managing crewsAbility to read blueprints100% nationwide travel requiredStrong work ethic and positive attitudeBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusPreferred experience with Nelson shear stud and grating installation
Physical Requirements:
Lift at least 75 lbsWork outdoors in varying weather conditionsWork at heights over 40 feetUse hand, power, pneumatic, and powder-actuated tools
Preferred Certifications:
OSHA 30Welding CertificationAerial Lift / Forklift CertificationCPR CertificationHilti / Power-Actuated Tools
