The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management principles. This role requires hands-on involvement in the field, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality control measures. Coordinate with project superintendents and team members to facilitate effective project scheduling and resource allocation. Set the standard for a safe and efficient culture. Conduct regular inspections on all equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Manage the workflow of co workers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Implement best practices for marine construction, ensuring all work meets industry standards. Lead by example and train all levels of staff across a variety of task. Maintain accurate records of project progress, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented. Skills Proficient in marine construction methodology. Experience with Pile Driving, Dock construction, seawall installation, framing. grading and excavation. Strong understanding of quality control processes within the construction industry. Experience with project scheduling techniques to ensure timely completion of tasks. Ensure a safe work environment for our staff as well as the general public at all times. Ability to effectively manage teams while fostering a collaborative work environment. Must be able to operate various forms of heavy machinery common with marine construction. Excellent communication skills to liaise with various type of people effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that arise during projects.
