Job Summary:

Duties Skilled and technical work in the construction, installation, and repair of traffic signal systems, highway lighting, and other transportation related systems. Supervision and Training of all subordinate employees assigned to the project. Assist Superintendent with material ordering, scheduling, and utility locates. Complete and turn in required personal and project paperwork. Maintain a neat and professional appearance. Communications with customers and other contractors. Follow requirements for utility locates and permits. Fulfill the company tool list requirements. Responsible for maintaining and renewing required certifications and licenses. Responsible for assigned company vehicle and typically report to work at the job site. Abide by all the company safety rules Wear proper PPE while on the job site and in the yard for lifting operations to include: Safety-toed work boots, safety vest, work gloves, and hard hat. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry. Experienced with Fiber Lines and techniques 3+ years of aerial line work (often with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role) Proficiency in aerial construction : placing strand, lashing cable, pole transfers, guying, and grounding Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment Experience operating bucket trucks, ladders, and other aerial lift equipment Familiarity with Traffic Signal construction processes is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately. Experience with quality control measures in a construction setting. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks. Knowledge of HeavyBid software is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation:

This is an hourly position paying $26.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience.
