This position involves performing a range of tasks to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utilities, water/sewer/storm, construction processes, safety regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Duties Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring all tools and materials are organized and accessible. Operate and maintain equipment safely, adhering to OSHA regulations at all times. Support construction estimating efforts by providing accurate measurements and data as needed. Read and interpret blueprints to assist in project execution effectively. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met on time. Utilize software such as HCSS, HeavyBid, Bid to win for project management and documentation purposes. Participate in training sessions on construction management best practices and pipeline operations. Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Requirements Previous experience in a utility or construction-related role is preferred. Familiarity with supervising teams or projects is a plus. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes is beneficial. Proficiency in using software tools like HeavyBid, ProCore, and Bluebeam is desirable. Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety practices within the construction industry is essential. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. Willingness to learn new skills related to construction management and pipeline operations.
